This week, from 29 June – 3 July 2026, CCI is proud to facilitate its Community Paralegal Training in Johannesburg with AURUM Institute’s TG/MSM implementers.
This training is equipping participants to become:
⚖️ Community-Based Human Rights Responders – Trusted frontline actors who identify, prevent and support responses to Human Rights violations that affect access to HIV, TB, and STI services – particularly for key and vulnerable populations.
📚 Access to Justice Facilitators – Providing legal literacy, basic legal assistance, advocacy, mediation and referrals to legal and social support services.
🤝 Community Systems Strengtheners – Documenting Human Rights violations, supporting community-led monitoring and promoting accountability and rights-based service delivery.
By strengthening community capacity, we are helping to build a more just, equitable and rights-based healthcare system, where everyone can access essential services without fear of discrimination or exclusion.
