About Us

Centre for Community Impact (CCI) is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve the health and well-being of all South Africans.
CCI uses a strategic evidence based communication approach which includes dynamic mass media and interpersonal communication initiatives.

Our communication strategies are designed to support the South African National Strategic Plan 2017 – 2022 on HIV and STIs.

VISION

To improve the health and well-being of all South Africans. CCI strives to make this vision a reality through:

Implementing strategic communication

Designing and implementing strategic communication programs that seek to influence social and individual health choices and behavioural change

Enhancing access to information

Enhancing access to information and the exchange of knowledge that contributes to the improvement of health and health care

Developing programming

Developing programming that is evidence informed through conducting research that guides programme design, evaluation, and advances knowledge in health communication.

Providing technical support

Providing technical support to South African partners to design, implement, monitor and evaluate strategic social and behavioural communication interventions.
