Organisational Background

Centre for Community Impact (CCI) is a non-profit South African organisation based in Pretoria. We aim to be a center of excellence in strategic health and development communication programs that are centered around meaningful Community Engagement.

Position Summary

Plan for and facilitate Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM) groups. Establish healthy boundaries, respect, and rapport with ABYM. Motivate and coach ABYM to refrain from harmful gender norms, risky and unhealthy behaviors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enroll Adolescents and Young People (AYP) programme beneficiaries according to daily, monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate the following social behavior change interventions: One Man Can
  • Grassroots Soccer
  • Facilitate ABYM and Male Sexual Partner (MSP) dialogues.
  • Develop and submit weekly progress reports.
  • Be flexible to work on weekends.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or managers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level.
  • Facilitation skills and understanding of group dynamics.
  • Basic counselling skills will be an advantage.
  • Being in possession of driver’s license be an advantage

  • Create and sustain a therapeutic and safe environment for ABYM.
  • Good communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual and as a team.
  • Ability to show empathy and manage emotions.
  • Ability to always observe confidentiality.
  • Excellent planning and facilitation skills.
